About Us
In January 1996, after a 10-year career spanning Programmer to IT Manager in the latter three years, Norman Katz founded Katzscan Inc. specializing in: Barcode Applications (inventory, manufacturing, fixed assets, compliance labeling); Electronic Data Interchange (EDI, eB2B, eB2C); Supply Chain Vendor Compliance (up-stream & down-stream); Software Selection & Implementation; Custom Software Development; Data Conversions, Data Reporting & Analysis. In 1998, Norman became a licensed Florida Private Investigator, assisting a Fort Lauderdale-based private investigations agency with white collar crimes and frauds. In 2006, Norman achieved the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner by the the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners after successfully passing the testing and application requirements. In 2007, Norman earned a Certification In Corporate Governance from Tulane University College Of Law. In brief, Norman's skills and qualifications are unique among his peers, and as such he is uniquely qualified to assist companies with supply chain fraud detection and reduction. Norman easily transitions from the distribution center to the conference room to the executive board room, working closely and comfortably with all levels of company personnel. With excellent verbal and written communications skills, Norman is a national speaker and is nationally published on various supply chain business and technology topics, including supply chain fraud.
